Pandora's Current Momentum Seems Weak -- Market Talk

Dow Jones
2025/08/15

0813 GMT - Pandora's sales momentum seems to still be holding up, but it faces current weak momentum and headwinds from U.S. tariffs, Citi analysts Thomas Chauvet and Alberto Cecchetto write in a research note. The Danish jeweler reported second-quarter revenue of 7.075 billion Danish kroner ($1.10 billion), up 8% compared with the same period a year earlier. However, it has had like-for-like sales growth of around 2% in the third quarter to date. The company confirmed its expectations for this year, but lowered its EBIT margin target for 2026. It now aims to deliver an EBIT margin of at least 24% next year, down from a prior estimate of approximately 25%. Despite various external headwinds, management shouldn't deviate from its long-term goal to become a full jewelry brand, the analysts say. Despite challenges, Citi reiterates its buy rating on the stock. Shares are down nearly 13%. (andrea.figueras@wsj.com)
