Innoviz Technologies Ltd. has announced a strategic collaboration with Cron AI and D2 Traffic Technologies to accelerate the adoption of LiDAR technology for intelligent intersections across North America. This partnership aims to address key challenges in LiDAR deployment within intelligent transport systems, perimeter security, and infrastructure intelligence by integrating their complementary technologies. The collaboration combines Innoviz's automotive-grade LiDAR sensor, Cron AI's edge-native 3D perception platform, and D2 Traffic Technologies' expertise in infrastructure integration. The joint effort will see installations at key intersections in Atlanta, Georgia, and a demonstration at the ITS World Congress in August 2025. This initiative is set against the backdrop of a growing intelligent transportation system market, projected to reach USD 73.76 billion by 2034.
