Taruga Minerals (ASX:TAR) said it was granted contiguous license applications E08/3733, E08/3734, and E08/3752 in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The E08/3733 permit features historic copper mining from an outcropping hydrothermal vein, while the E08/3734 permit features two historic mining sites, which have outcropping high grade lead and silver mineralization, with copper and gold also reported to be present.
The E08/3752 permit features three historic copper workings in the northeast of the permit called Moodong Well, as well as several outcropping pegmatoids which may be prospective for lithium and rare earth elements.
No drilling for base or precious metals appears to have been completed within the permit, the filing added.
