Asian Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Open Week Flat in Monday Trading

Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts started the week marginally higher Monday morning, edging up 0.05% to 2,490.86 on the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index.

From North Asia, the gainers were led by tech company Xunlei (XNET) and streaming service iQIYI (IQ), which surged 20% and 21% respectively. They were followed by game live-streaming platform DouYu International (DOYU) and mobile app developer Cheetah Mobile (CMCM), which advanced 13% and 3.3% respectively.

The decliners from North Asia were led by consumer lending firm Eason Technology (DXF) and financial services company CNFinance (CNF), which shed 16% and 5.7% respectively. They were followed by consumer lending firm LexinFintech (LX) and fintech company Qfin (QFIN), which dropped 4.1% and 3.5% respectively.

From South Asia, the gainers were led by financial services company ICICI Bank (IBN), which was up 0.5%, followed by pharmaceutical company Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (RDY) and financial services company HDFC Bank (HDFC ), which rose 0.3% each.

The decliners from South Asia were led by IT firms Infosys (INFY) and Sify Technologies (SIFY), which dropped 1.1% and 1% respectively. They were followed by telecommunications operator Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TLK) and tech conglomerate Sea (SE), which were off 0.7% and 0.1%.
