Nio Inc (NYSE: NIO) has reduced the cost of the optional 100-kWh long-range battery pack for its Nio brand by RMB 20,000 ($2,780), resulting in a price reduction for all long-range versions of its currently available models.
Effective August 19, the price of the 100-kWh long-range battery pack has been reduced from RMB 128,000 to RMB 108,000, the company announced today.
