Samsung Heavy Industries (KRX:010140) secured an order for two LNG carriers from a client in the Oceania region, according to a Monday filing with the Korea Exchange.
The deal is valued at 705.7 billion won, and the shipbuilder will deliver the container ships by January 2028.
Shares of Samsung Heavy Industries rose more than 2% in recent trade.
