Technology stocks were flat to lower pre-bell Monday, with the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) inactive and the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) down 0.2%.

Dayforce (DAY) is being considered for takeover by Thoma Bravo, Bloomberg News reported, citing unnamed people familiar with the matter. Shares of Dayforce were up more than 25% premarket.

Riskified (RSKD) stock was down more than 9% after the company reported lower Q2 non-GAAP earnings.

Yext (YEXT) shares were more than 6% higher after the company said Chief Executive Michael Walrath has submitted a non-binding proposal to acquire all outstanding company shares he doesn't already own at a price of $9 per share in cash.
