VRL Logistics (NSE:VRLLOG, BOM:539118) has allotted 87,468,495 bonus equity shares of 10 Indian rupees each, according to a Monday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

The bonus shares were allotted in the ratio 1:1, where one fully paid-up equity share of 10 rupees each was allotted for every existing fully paid-up equity share of 10 rupees held by the eligible shareholders.

With this, the company's paid-up share capital has increased from 87,468,495 shares of 10 rupees each to 174,936,990 shares of 10 rupees each.

The company's shares were up over 2% in recent trade.
