0418 GMT - Posco Holdings is set to gain from South Korean regulators' antidumping duties on steel-plate and stainless-steel imports from China, Nomura analyst Cindy Park writes in a note. The estimated 22%-38% duties are expected to protect the Korean steelmaker from Chinese dumping and also pressure China to further cut its steel production, Park says. The projected benefit Posco could get from the measure may outweigh the expected loss the company could suffer from President Trump's increased 50% tariff on steel products shipped to the U.S. The company's steel exports to the U.S. account for just 3% of its overall steel revenue, she adds.
