Amentum Holdings Inc., in collaboration with the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane), has commenced construction on the Radiation Combined Environment (RCE) Test Facility in Odon, Indiana. This state-of-the-art facility is designed to enhance the testing and validation of microelectronics under extreme conditions, crucial for the U.S. Department of Defense. The project underscores Amentum's longstanding partnership with NSWC Crane, which spans over four decades. The RCE Test Facility is set to create highly skilled technical jobs and strengthen the Crane/WestGate innovation ecosystem. The initiative has garnered support from several entities, including the U.S. Navy Strategic Systems Programs and the Indiana Economic Development Corporation.
