iTech Minerals Says Induced Polarization Survey at Gold-Antimony Project Identifies Chargeability Anomaly, Shares Fall 9%

iTech Minerals (ASX:ITM) said a dipole-dipole induced polarization survey at the Reynolds Range antimony-gold project identified a significant chargeability anomaly near the Sabre and Falchion Antimony prospects, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.

Mapping and rock chip sampling in the area identified new high-grade gold and copper mineralization in the south of the project within the Bayonet prospect, as well as high-grade antimony and gold mineralization at the Sabre and Falchion prospects.

Antimony-rich mineralization at Sabre appears to be associated with a high chargeability zone, while a chargeability anomaly occurs 600 meters to the southeast of Sabre, providing a new antimony-gold target.

The firm is conducting site visits to collect additional data to assist with planning of the upcoming drill program and obtain approvals in the next six to eight weeks, it added.

Its shares fell 9% in recent trading on Friday.
