Summa Defence Oyj has released its financial results for the first half of 2025, revealing a significant increase in net sales, which rose by 35% to EUR 42.1 million from EUR 31.1 million in the same period the previous year. The company's continuing operations in defence and security contributed EUR 34.9 million to net sales, while the Renewable Energy business accounted for EUR 7.2 million. The operating profit $(EBIT)$ for April to June 2025 was reported as a loss of EUR 2.4 million, compared to a profit of EUR 0.8 million in the same period of the previous year. The result for the review period also showed a net loss of EUR 3.1 million, compared to a net profit of EUR 0.3 million in the prior year period. In terms of business operations, Summa Defence has made progress in its production venture in Southern Finland, with the first test batch being manufactured in collaboration with a Ukrainian partner and deliveries expected to begin in the second half of the year. The company has indicated that its financial guidance will be issued in connection with the business review for January-September 2025. Summa Defence plans to publish this business review on October 31, 2025.
