Charter Communications Inc.'s Spectrum has announced the expansion of its high-speed internet, mobile, TV, and voice services to nearly 3,400 homes and small businesses in McDowell County, North Carolina. This development is part of Spectrum's $7 billion rural construction initiative, aimed at enhancing connectivity in underserved areas. The expansion will provide broadband speeds of up to 1 Gbps, along with advanced WiFi, and more than 270 HD TV channels with 85,000 On Demand options. Spectrum's investment will add over 100,000 miles of fiber-optic network infrastructure across the country, improving internet access for over 1.7 million new locations. This initiative is a significant step towards bridging the digital divide and supporting local communities with superior connectivity.
