NBCC (India) Bags Order Worth INR37 Billion for Convention Center, Urban Development Projects

NBCC (India) (NSE:NBCC, BOM:534309) has received a contract worth 37 billion Indian rupees from the Rajasthan state government for the development of the Rajasthan Mandapam Convention Centre and other urban development projects, according to a Monday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

The Government of Rajasthan's cabinet recently gave its approval for the development project.

The contract is to design, build, and market the Rajasthan Mandapam Convention Centre, Global Capability Centre (GCC) tower, IT tower, luxury hotels, and new commercial and residential infrastructure on 95 acres of land owned by the Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation.

Rajasthan Mandapam will be built as a 7,000 to 7,500-seat convention center.

The company's shares were up nearly 1% in recent trade.
