Regal Hotels International Holdings Ltd. has announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2025. The Group reported a revenue increase of 4.9%, reaching HK$905.6 million compared to HK$863.4 million in the same period of 2024. Gross profit saw a slight increase of 0.3%, amounting to HK$311.9 million from HK$311.0 million previously. Operating profit before depreciation, finance costs, and tax significantly improved to HK$85.4 million, a notable recovery from a loss of HK$734.8 million in the first half of 2024. The loss attributable to equity holders of the parent was reduced by 57.6%, with a loss of HK$677.6 million compared to HK$1,599.2 million in the previous year. The Group's basic loss per ordinary share attributable to equity holders also improved, decreasing by 55.4% from HK$(1.84) to HK$(0.82). The Group's business activities primarily involve hotel ownership and management, property development, aircraft ownership and leasing, and other investments. There are no immediate plans for acquisition of material investments or capital assets. The Group's development projects include the ongoing Regala Skycity Hotel at Hong Kong International Airport, a wholly owned project secured in 2017.
