The Times

- UK's Ministry of Defence has enlisted the help of Castlepoint Systems, an Australian software company that has developed advanced AI, to comb through government documents and spreadsheets and place security tags on sensitive material that prevents it being distributed.

- Transplant technology business OrganOX has been bought by Japanese medical devices group Terumo 4543.T for $1.5 billion.

- Marks & Spencer MKS.L is opening a secondhand clothing store on eBay EBAY.O as the retailer taps into booming demand for pre-loved clothing.

- U.S. soft drinks giant Keurig Dr Pepper KDP.O is set to create a global coffee giant with an $18 billion takeover of JDE Peet's JDEP.AS, Europe's largest acquisition in more than two years.

- British parcel and postal firm Royal Mail is to stop accepting parcels bound for the U.S. as it braces for the impact of new tariffs announced by U.S. President Donald Trump.

- Digital payments firm GoCardless is nearing a deal to sell to Dutch rival Mollie, which is expected to value the British company at $1.5 billion.

Sky News

- Britain's water regulator, Ofwat, said that it has written to several firms requesting details on remuneration disclosed in their annual accounts as part of a review into compliance with rules prohibiting performance-related executive pay.

- Alcentra and Brait, the owners of New Look, the high street fashion retailer, have picked bankers Rothschild to oversee a strategic review, which is expected to see the company change hands next year.
