Reliance Industries Ltd. has announced the incorporation of a wholly owned subsidiary, Reliance Intelligence Limited, and a joint venture agreement with Meta Platforms, Inc. The newly formed subsidiary will focus on ventures related to artificial intelligence. As part of the joint venture agreement, a new company will be created, with Reliance Industries holding a 70% stake through the subsidiary, while Meta will hold the remaining 30%. Both parties have committed an initial investment of approximately Rs. 855 crore (around US$ 100 million). The joint venture is expected to focus on developing, marketing, and distributing Enterprise AI Services. The transaction is anticipated to close in the fourth quarter of 2025, pending regulatory approvals. The announcement was made by the Chairman of Reliance Industries during the Annual General Meeting.
