China Star Entertainment Ltd. has released its unaudited interim results for the six months ended 30th June 2025. The company reported total revenue of HK$256.5 million. This includes HK$314,000 from film-related business operations, reflecting a significant decrease from the HK$1.166 million reported in the same period in 2024. The segment loss for film-related operations also decreased to HK$1.185 million from a HK$3.243 million loss in the previous year. Property development and investment operations contributed HK$133.013 million, accounting for 52% of the total revenue, while multi-media and entertainment business operations generated HK$123.194 million, representing 48% of total revenue. The company highlighted that, currently, no new film or TV drama series are in production, and revenue for the period was mainly derived from sub-distribution fees and artist management fees.
