Avista Corporation has received approval from the Idaho Public Utilities Commission for an all-party, all-issues settlement agreement concerning the company's electric and natural gas general rate cases. The new electric rates will take effect on September 1, 2025, with an increase in annual base electric revenues by $19.5 million or 6.3%, and an additional increase on September 1, 2026, by $14.7 million or 4.5%. For natural gas, the agreement will increase revenues by $4.6 million or 9.2% on September 1, 2025, with a slight reduction of $0.2 million or 0.4% on September 1, 2026. The settlement supports Avista's infrastructure investments, ensuring reliable energy for over 145,000 electric and 93,000 natural gas customers in Idaho.
