Wenye Group Holdings Ltd. has announced its unaudited condensed consolidated interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2025. The Group reported a substantial decrease in revenue, which fell by approximately 69% from RMB13.5 million in the first half of 2024 to RMB4.2 million in the same period of 2025. Despite the decline in revenue, the Group achieved a noteworthy turnaround in profitability. The profit for the period attributable to owners of the Company reached RMB885.8 million, a significant improvement from a loss of RMB21.7 million in the first half of 2024. The basic and diluted profit per share improved to RMB1.32 from a loss per share of RMB0.04 in the previous year. The Group's gross profit margin also increased to 12.0% in 1H2025 compared to 5.9% in 1H2024. The Group's performance was impacted by weak macroeconomic conditions and a prolonged downturn in the property market, which affected its decoration business. Additionally, Wenye Decoration faced significant liabilities and numerous creditor lawsuits, which undermined confidence and impacted operations. Following restructuring and disposal, the Group's financial position improved significantly from a net liability position of approximately RMB930.4 million. The Group remains focused on stabilizing its operations and resolving outstanding issues to ensure a smooth continuation of business activities.
