** Port of Tauranga POT.NZ rises as much as 2.8% to NZ$7.100; marks biggest intraday pct gain since May 6

** Port operator's FY total net profit surges ~91% y/y; FY rev from continuing ops rises ~11% y/y

** Co declares final dividend of 9.7 NZ cents/share vs year-ago 8.7 NZ cents

** Over 208,000 shares traded, 1.7x the 30-day avg

** POT last up 2.2%, taking YTD gains to 9.8%
