Globalstar Inc., a next-generation telecommunications infrastructure and technology provider, has announced a significant expansion of its ground station infrastructure in Nemea, Greece, as part of the development of its third-generation C-3 satellite system. In collaboration with OTE S.A., Globalstar is constructing additional gateway infrastructure to support its latest satellite network. This expansion includes the construction of three new tracking antennas at the Nemea site, contributing to a global buildout of approximately 90 new antennas across 35 gateways worldwide. This initiative underscores Greece's strategic role in satellite connectivity and represents Globalstar's commitment to enhancing the functionality and capacity of its network, aiming to deliver advanced services globally.
