Marco Polo Marine Ropes in Norwegian Ship Designer to Build Next Gen Vessel

Marco Polo Marine (SGX:5LY) has teamed up with Norway-based ship designer Salt Ship Design to design Marco Polo Marine's next-generation commissioning service operation vessel, the CSOV Plus, according to a Monday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

The contract was agreed between the company's Taiwan-based subsidiary, PKR Offshore, Salt Ship and Marco Polo Shipyard.

The CSOV Plus will support the lifecycle of offshore wind projects and can also be deployed in the oil and gas sector.

Shares of the company were up over 1% in Monday trading.
