Shares of Woodside Energy Group (ASX:WDS) and Santos (ASX:STO) fell by 3% and 2%, respectively, on Monday, as oil prices edged higher following the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries' (OPEC) decision to raise production at a slower pace from October amid concerns over weakening global demand.
Brent crude futures rose 0.4% to $65.73 a barrel.
