Sunny Optical Technology (Group) (HKG:2382) recorded a 7.1% decline in the shipment volume of its handset lens sets to 115.4 million units in August from a year prior, a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

Shipments of handset camera modules jumped 6.3% year over year to 42.1 million units.

Vehicle lens set shipments climbed 19% from the prior-year period to nearly 10.1 million units, mainly due to a higher customer demand.
