Churchill Capital Corp X and Infleqtion have announced a proposed business combination, as the boards of directors from both companies have unanimously approved the merger. Infleqtion, known for its breakthrough neutral atom platform in quantum computing and sensing, will go public through this merger. No existing Infleqtion shareholders will sell any shares or receive cash consideration as part of the transaction, and all shareholders will be locked up at the close of the deal. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.
