Qantas Airways (ASX:QAN) and its Jetstar unit are set to launch new routes next year, operating three times a week between Brisbane and Wellington, and between Brisbane and Queenstown, according to a Wednesday statement by the airline.

The airlines will add almost 210,000 seats next year, the statement said.
