0759 GMT - Posco Future M is set to report a 3Q earnings miss due to continued losses at its energy material segment, NH Investment & Securities analyst Ju Min-woo writes in a note. The South Korean battery-material supplier's operating profit is expected at KRW1.6 billion, below a market consensus estimate of KRW16.7 billion, Ju says. The company is exposed to the risk of slowing U.S. demand for electric vehicles and a cathode oversupply, he adds. He cuts Posco's estimated cathode sales by 19% for 2026. NH downgrades the stock to hold from buy and lowers its target price by 29% to KRW135,000. Shares close 0.2% higher at KRW133,000.(kwanwoo.jun@wsj.com)
