The Department of Transportation and the Federal Aviation Administration have introduced a framework allowing American cities to participate in the program, enabling trial operations of Archer's Midnight aircraft. These trials will focus on proving the safety, quietness, and scalability of eVTOL operations, crucial for gaining community support and advancing the adoption of this innovative technology.
