Stardust Power Inc. has announced a major development in its efforts to expand domestic lithium production with the completion of the Front-End Loading 3 Report (FEL 3) for its new lithium processing facility in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Led by Primero USA, the report confirms the facility's Phase 1 capacity of 25,000 metric tons per annum of battery-grade lithium, with plans to expand to 50,000 metric tons in Phase 2. The project, one of the largest planned refineries in the U.S., is estimated to cost approximately $500 million, significantly under previous estimates. With the completion of the FEL 3, Stardust Power is moving quickly towards the Final Investment Decision, which will mark the start of major construction anticipated to last around 24 months. The company emphasizes its commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards, aiming to be a responsible community member. An independent third-party review is underway to validate the report's findings and optimize the project further.
