APA Group Secures Draft AER Approval For Basslink Revenue Proposal

APA Group (ASX:APA) stated that the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) has issued a draft determination proposing AU$428.8 million in revenue for Basslink over the four years starting July 2026, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.

The draft decision is preliminary, with additional feedback expected before the final determination scheduled for Feb. 27, 2026, the filing said.

If approved, Basslink will shift from a market services network provider to a regulated transmission network services provider beginning July 1, 2026, the filing added.
