Gold Road Resources to Pay Conditional Special Dividend of AU$0.44 Per Share

Gold Road Resources (ASX:GOR) plans to pay a special dividend of AU$0.44 per share, conditional on the company's proposed acquisition by Gruyere Holdings via a scheme of arrangement, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The scheme is set to become effective on Sept. 26, and the dividend will be paid on Oct. 7 to shareholders on record as of Sept. 30, the filing said.

The board recommends shareholders vote in favor of the scheme, subject to the absence of a superior proposal and an independent expert's conclusion that it is in the best interests of shareholders, the filing added.

The company will also suspend its distribution reinvestment plan, effective Tuesday, per the filing.
