Tesla (TSLA) plans to increase its Q3 and Q4 production for its plant in Germany, the manager of the factory told Deutsche Press Agentur, the German press agency.
Andre Thierig said the company is seeing "very good signals" compared to the same month last year.
"We have a very good current sales situation and have therefore also revised the production planning for the third and fourth quarter up again," the report cited Thierig as saying. "We supply significantly more than 30 markets, and we definitely see a positive trend."
In August, 1,400 Tesla vehicles were newly registered in Germany, about 40% fewer than a year ago, the report said.
A planned expansion of the plant is on hold, the report said.
Tesla did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
