Meta Platforms (META) is anticipated to launch a new pair of smart glasses at its annual Connect event on Wednesday, multiple media outlets reported Tuesday.
The device, internally called Hypernova, comes with a built-in display that can be controlled with hand gestures and is expected to cost $800, according to the reports.
The new device builds upon Meta's partnership with EssilorLuxottica, which created Ray-Ban and Oakley smart glasses, CNBC reported.
Meta did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
