Shijiazhuang Kelin Electric's (SHA:603050) indirect controlling shareholder, Hisense Group (SHE:000921, HKG:0921), will raise its voting rights in the company, according to a Shanghai bourse disclosure on Thursday.
Hisense's voting rights in Kelin will rise to 54.9% from 44.5% after the perovskite solar cell module manufacturer issues up to 92,649,783 shares for 16.19 yuan per share through Hisense's unit, Hisense Energy Holdings.
Kelin will raise up to 1.50 billion yuan from the share placement plan.
The proceeds will be used to supplement the Kelin's working capital.
Kelin's shares dropped over 3% at the close.
