Canopy Growth Appoints Tom Stewart as Permanent CFO

Canopy Growth has appointed Tom Stewart to the role of chief financial officer on a permanent basis .

Stewart was first appointed to the role on an interim basis in early July, succeeding Judy Hong, who served as Canopy Growth's CFO for just over three years.

Before his appointment, Stewart was a member of the company's senior finance leadership team since 2019.

The Canadian cannabis company said Wednesday that his appointment supports its growth's strategy for fiscal 2026. This strategy aims to improve structural efficiency, operational and commercial focus, as well as disciplined capital allocation and cost management, it said.
