Zenith Minerals (ASX:ZNC) completed its deep diamond drilling program at the Red Mountain gold project in Queensland, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The third and final drill hole was completed to a depth of 584.2 meters to provide geometrical information regarding previously intersected mineralization to guide future drilling. A priority interval was dispatched for fast-track assays, per the filing.
The firm applied for new tenure adjoining the project, and it plans to conduct a soil sampling program across the Red Mountain tenure to identify additional intrusion-related systems.
The firm's shares rose 5% in recent trading on Monday.
