ADX Energy (ASX:ADX) will resume testing and drilling operations at the Welchau-1 drill site in Upper Austria after the country's State Administrative Court ruled that environmental clearances were granted according to the regulation, and the company's drilling and testing activities followed all the rules of the permits, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

Drilling will start at the site from Oct.1 and will continue till March 31, the filing said.

Shares of the company rose 25% in recent Monday trade.
