Alcidion Group (ASX:ALC) has signed a contract expansion with North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust (NCIC), for a total contract value of about AU$6.8 million over 9.4 years, aligned with the existing 10-year contract, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The contract is to deliver the company's MediViewer technology as an expansion to the Miya Precision Electronic Patient Record (EPR) product, to provide access to scanned and historical documents in clinical workflows.

MediViewer is an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) that will digitize the trust's paper records, making them accessible directly in the Miya Precision EPR, the filing added.
