MTR (HKG:0066) is seeking bids for the first phase of development of a site adjacent to the Tuen Mun River in Hong Kong, The Standard reported Monday.

The site, designated as Tuen Mun Town Lot No. 576, will neighbor the Area 16 Station that is being constructed as part of the Tuen Mun South rapid transit extension project.

The proposed 2.4-kilometre extension is expected to be completed in 2030.

Interested parties have until 2 p.m. local time on Sept. 29 to submit expressions of interest.
