CapitaLand Investment Ties Up with SAC Capital Partners to Launch Industrial Development Fund in UAE

CapitaLand Investment (SGX:9CI) partnered with SAC Capital Partners to launch an industrial development fund in the UAE, according to a Tuesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

The SC GCC Real Estate Industrial Development Fund's first project will be an industrial park in the city of Ras Al Khaimah covering 300,000 square meters of land.

The development is expected to create 1,800 jobs and attract more than 50 tenants, the filing said.

CapitaLand and SC Capital Partners will also form a consortium with THi Holding Management, which will act as the development manager, asset manager and operator, to support the fund's goals.
