Koba Resources (ASX:KOB) discovered a high-grade prospect during a follow-up drilling campaign at its Yarramba uranium project in South Australia, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

A step-out, exploratory drilling campaign comprising 18 drill holes for 1,818 meters was completed in September, the filing said. It encountered an intercept of 1.1 meters at 693 parts per million of triuranium octoxide-equivalent from 88.4 meters at the new Delord prospect, located in the 1.5 kilometers corridor between the Oban deposit and the Berber prospect.

Significant uranium mineralization was intersected at all targets tested as part of the step-out exploratory drilling, the filing added.

The company's shares jumped 7% in recent Thursday trade.
