TG Metals (ASX:TG6) said a maiden drilling program, consisting of initial reverse circulation drilling of seven drill holes for 606 meters, at the Gold City project in Western Australia, was completed, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The drilling activities were rescheduled to prioritize the project before the anticipated arrival of wet weather. Drill planning on the infill soil sampling at Gold City will begin upon the return of the soil sampling results.

The drill pad preparation is underway for the deeper planned drill holes at the Van Uden shear ahead of the arrival of a larger drill rig.

The shares of the firm jumped 7% on market close.
