Orient Overseas (International) Limited (OOIL) has reported its unaudited operational update for the third quarter ended 30th September 2025. Liner revenue fell by 25.9% year-on-year to USD 2,264.2 million, while total liftings increased by 0.7% and loadable capacity grew by 4.2%. The overall load factor was 2.8% lower compared to the same period in 2024, and average liner revenue per TEU dropped by 26.5%. For the first nine months of 2025, liner revenue decreased by 8.3% to USD 6,696.0 million, despite a 4.7% rise in total liftings. Service-specific results included a 33.2% decrease in Trans-Pacific revenue, a 38.3% fall in Asia/Europe revenue, and a 12.9% drop in Intra-Asia/Australasia revenue, while Trans-Atlantic revenue increased by 25.4% during the third quarter. The company cautioned investors that these figures are unaudited and advised caution when dealing in its shares.
