Paladin Energy (ASX:PDN) reported fiscal first-quarter production at the Langer Heinrich mine in Namibia of 1.1 million pounds of triuranium octoxide, up from 639,679 pounds of triuranium octoxide produced a year ago, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The uranium production company recorded 533,789 pounds of triuranium octoxide sold during the three months ended Sept. 30, down from 623,064 pounds sold a year earlier.
Paladin continues to see lower levels of primary mined ore feed during the December quarter, it added.
As of Sept. 30, the company had $269.4 million in cash and investments and $50 million in an undrawn revolving credit facility.
