Caspian Pipeline Consortium raises oil exports in September by 9% m/m - sources

MOSCOW, Oct 13 (Reuters) - The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) increased oil exports in September by 9% on a daily basis from August to 6.6 million metric tons, or 1.75 million barrels per day, according to two industry sources and Reuters calculations.

CPC ships oil through a pipeline, which carries more than 80% of all Kazakh oil exports, and further via Russia's Yuzhnaya Ozereevka terminal in the Black Sea.

CPC's shareholders include U.S. majors Chevron CVX.N and Exxon Mobil XOM.N.

One of the sources said CPC increased oil supplies from Kazakhstan last month to 6.043 million tons from 5.703 million tons in August.

At the same time, Russian oil exports edged down to 583,000 tons from 601,000 tons.

CPC does not comment on its commercial activity.
