Technology stocks were advancing premarket Thursday, with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) 0.9% higher and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) up 1.3%
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM) shares were up more than 2% after the company reported higher Q3 earnings and net revenue.
Salesforce (CRM) stock was up more than 6% after the company outlined plans to repurchase another $7 billion worth of shares over the next six months. Salesforce also said it is targeting revenue of more than $60 billion by fiscal year 2030, excluding the impact from its deal with Informatica.
Snowflake (SNOW) and Palantir Technologies (PLTR) said they formed a new partnership to help companies build data pipelines, faster data analytics, and artificial intelligence applications. Snowflake shares were up more than 4% pre-bell.
