Datang Environment Industry (HKG:1272) plans to register and issue up to 6 billion yuan in domestic debt instruments, according to a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing.
The issuance will include super short-term and short-term commercial paper, as well as medium-term notes, aimed at expanding financing channels and reducing funding costs, the company said.
The company intends to seek approval from the National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors (NAFMII) for registration and issuance of up to 3 billion yuan in super short-term commercial paper, 2 billion yuan in short-term commercial paper, and 1 billion yuan in medium-term notes.
Proceeds will be used to replenish working capital, fund projects, and repay maturing debt, the filing said.
Separately, Datang said its earlier plan to dispose of certain concession assets through a public tender has been terminated, as no bidders were identified.
