China Eastern Airlines' (SHA:600115, HKG:0670) passenger capacity rose 3.6% year over year to about 25.2 billion available seat kilometers in September, according to a filing with the Shanghai bourse.

Passenger count rose 4.9% to 12.0 million during the month.

Cargo capacity inched up 0.7% to 742.4 million available freight tonne-kilometers, while cargo carried increased 11% to 97,350 tonnes.

Shares of the airline rose 1% in recent trade.
