GeoPark (GPRK) said late Thursday it closed the $115 million acquisition of working interests in the Loma Jarillosa Este and Puesto Silva Oeste blocks in Argentina from Pluspetrol after securing all required governmental and regulatory approvals.

The oil and natural gas company said it also transferred a 5% working interest in the Puesto Silva Oeste Block to Gas y Petroleo del Neuquen, which joins GeoPark as a partner in the development of this asset.

The purchase price comprised $22.7 million security deposit and a $92.3 million balance payment, which was disbursed at the closing of the deal.
